KITE BOARDING, WINGFOIL and EFOIL

More and more surfing schools have added the exciting new sports of Kite Boarding, Wingfoil and eFoil to their programmes. To get the best out of the different wind forces, advanced surfers should take a local course if possible.

Apart from during the summer season, you will find enough space in most places to unfold your kite or foil on the beach and to experience the freedom of gliding over the waves at exhilarating speeds. In the summer you can rely on good, steady thermal winds, but on crowded beaches you may disturb others.

The meeting point for the local scene is at the Mallorca Kiteboarding VDWS Approved Centre, next to Hotel Port Blue Club Pollentia. It is on the coast road south from Lenaire, around the bay, before you enter Alcudia.

In addition you will find suitable wind conditions in many areas such as Can Pastilla, Palmanova and Es Trenc with their fine, long beaches.
